A wilde OSCAR appeared!
His elemental weaknesses include Bosie and street arab men who can be described as wild gardens.

BENEDICK: A miracle! here’s our own hands against our hearts. Come, I will have thee; but, by this light, I take thee for pity.
BEATRICE: I would not deny you; but, by this good day, I yield upon great persuasion; and partly to save your life, for I was told you were in a consumption.
BENEDICK: Peace! I will stop your mouth.
— Much Ado About Nothing
The original bickering romantic comedy duo. If Beatrice were plucked from this play and placed in a romantic comedy in 2011 with all her character attributes and sensibilities in tact, she wouldn’t be out of place. In fact, she would probably be hailed as modern. On a sidenote, it sucks that these two people got divorced. They had really nice on-screen chemistry. This movie has been happy place since I was 12.
J’aime toujours. My favorite Shakespeare, I think, and my dream role. And I love this version so much. So so.
